I have a Canon Rebel T3i camera with a EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 kit lens.

Here we can see the distortion in the brim of the hat.

Here I believe this is the best picture because the hat looks normal and the hard drive is clear.
This picture looks too zoomed in and I feel the hat does not look natural.

Here we see too much of the hallway and that can take away the focus of the image.

Here the image is nice and we can really focus on the subjects.

On the pictures we can see the DOF changes on the wall in the background. on the first image the wall is pretty clear and on the last one the wall is more blurry.
